Sports Therapy FAQs
Have questions about sports therapy? Here are some common inquiries to help you understand the process better. Feel free to reach out if you have more specific questions.
How does mobile therapy work?
I bring the treatment to you, so there’s no need to travel. It’s perfect for anyone with a busy schedule — especially if you work from home. A midweek massage can fit easily into your lunch break without disrupting your day.
What if i cant do a mobile appointment?
Not to worry at all! I also work out of Health Kick Academy in Stratford-Upon-Avon where I have my own treatment room.
What should I expect before the session?
I’ll arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This gives us time to chat, go over any details, and set up the equipment needed for your treatment.
What kind of space do I need at home?
All you need is a clear space big enough to fit a portable massage bed and allow me to move around it. Kitchens, dining rooms, or lounges tend to work really well.
What if I’m not injured — can I still book a session?
Absolutely! You don’t need to be injured to benefit from sports therapy. I offer general massage sessions to help maintain your current fitness level and prevent future injuries. This kind of prehabilitation is a smart move for anyone, whether you're active or just want to feel your best day to day.

Who needs sports therapy?
Sports therapy isn’t just for athletes — it’s for everyone. Whether you play sport or not, a sports therapist understands how the body moves and what can go wrong. We’re trained in recognising and treating common issues like back pain, tight muscles, and more. If you have a body, sports therapy can help!

How many sessions will I need?
That depends on what you’re coming in for. If you’re recovering from an injury, we’ll work together to create a plan tailored to your goals and needs. If you just want a one-off massage to give it a try or release some tension, that’s totally fine too — it’s all up to you.
